Valante's standard warranty is valid for a period of one year from the date of delivery.
If the product shows a manufacturing defect during this period, Valante will repair or replace the product. Valante may ask to send the product. Then a 15 euro service fee will be charged for inspection.
A manufacturing defect is a defect that is inherently present at the time of manufacture and is not caused by other external causes.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by water, dropping, impact, misuse or improper handling of the product.
In order to invoke the warranty, the customer must provide proof of purchase and contact customer service via email@example.com . The warranty is non-transferable and extends only to the original purchaser.
To invoke the warranty, the customer must follow the following procedure:
- Gather all the necessary documents and information, including proof of purchase such as the invoice.
- Contact Valante customer service via firstname.lastname@example.org to inform them of the problem. Describe the defect as well as possible and illustrate with photos or videos. First of all, follow the technical instructions of the Valante employee.
- Sometimes it is necessary for the product to be returned to Valante for inspection. That to assess whether or not it is a production error. Then, if necessary, a decision about repair or replacement will follow. The service and shipping costs are borne by the customer and amount to 15 euros. These costs are charged in advance.
- Once Valante has received the smartwatch and determined that the defect is covered by warranty, they will repair or replace the product. If the product is repaired, it will be returned to the customer in good condition. If the smartwatch is replaced, the customer will receive a new device, normally the same model, and if this is not possible, a similar smartwatch of the same price category.
